some much needed flexibility and to help manage a couple of pretty common and chronic running injuries (namely IT Band Syndrome and Plantar Fasciitis). As I became committed to my yoga practice, I enjoyed astonishing results! I increased my VO2 Max threshold, improved my stride, balance and natural foot pronation, and started running painlessly (and without Ibuprofen, I might add) for the first time in years! My recovery time from long runs has literally been cut in half. I honestly feel that 90 minutes in the studio counteracts the negative effects of 'pounding the pavement' and brings about strength from the inside out. Bikram Yoga has changed my life for the better and has become the cornerstone of my health and fitness program.
